Lightening of the
2018 Monsoon...
Monsoon in the Western Ghats of India awakes nature and turns it into a beautiful green landscape. In the midst of breathtaking valleys, amazing waterfalls, and towering green hills of Lonavala, a beautiful hill station near Mumbai, lightning of thought struck. The deafening voices of many clients and their reverberating echoes led to the silence within. Technology is transforming learning, which would be almost unrecognizable soon. This change is inevitable.
What followed were restless days and sleepless nights! How do we preserve the core philosophy of centuries-old established learning methods while leveraging technology to modernize it? Organizations globally have welcomed digital learning delivery channels, and some of them were at an industrialized level of maturity, whereas many were being experimented with or evaluated. Then the following idea kindled passion – how about integrating the established learning methods with the digital environment seamlessly! And, yes, it is possible…

This abstract idea now needed to be executed. On this journey, mavericks and geeks and, of course, tech brains joined us. It was a relentless pursuit of executing the idea on the ground with days and nights of hard work and personal sacrifices, learning and unlearning, challenging others and being challenged, acknowledging silence and noise, dealing with applause and boos, experiencing rejections and acceptances, and witnessing sweat and blood. Finally, we had the product ready – a masterpiece of art and craft. Michelangelo waved and smiled at us, seriously!
Now was the time to conceptualize the solutions and integrate them within the product. It wasn’t easy. We needed a structure, systems, processes and, of course, an equally passionate new group of people. Less crazy, though! Thus was born Cognigix, with an intense desire to create a positive impact in the learning industry – corporate and beyond –education, publishers, nonprofit, and government, and with a commitment to continue to innovate and create.

You are just 3! The pat reply was, “Age is just a number, young or old. Mature I am within and ready to fly high. Wait… will go, will see, and will conquer! ”

What's in the Name - Cognigix?
A rose, even if called something entirely different, would still smell as sweet as it does now. Juliet likens this to Romeo. Romeo is still the man she loved even if he had a different name. Shakespeare came to our rescue when people asked, “What the heck is Cognigix?” We call ourselves Cognigix, as much as we could have called ourselves by any other name. We made a cocktail of two interesting words – Cognitive and Logic and added an “X” for some x-factor. The amalgamated word sounded lively, cutting edge and, at the same time, meaningful. We later realized that our name became a conversation starter.
So what’s there in a name…let it be!
